Ifeolu A.C. Claytor
Diplomatic Strategies LLC was founded and is led by Ifeolu A.C. Claytor, a public servant and civic engagement strategist. In 2021, Ifeolu made history as the youngest person in recorded history elected to City Council in his hometown, Shaker Heights, OH. His public service began well before elected office, having served diverse communities and his fellow students while enrolled in Shaker Schools and at Miami University. After college, Ifeolu served his community as the Political Action Chair with the Cleveland Branch of the NAACP. He also served his community through Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. at the local chapter and provincial level. He currently serves as the Public Policy and Advocacy Chair for the Urban League of Greater Cleveland Young Professionals.
Beyond his public service and community experiences, Ifeolu brings over a decade of civic engagement and political experience. While an undergraduate student, Ifeolu worked closely with the Office of Institutional Relations to regularly represent Miami University with federal and state legislative offices. He has worked with organizations statewide like the ACLU of Ohio and All Voting is Local Ohio, and national with State Voices. He specializes in voting rights policy and get out the vote strategy. His campaign experience includes working with local school board, mayoral, and city council candidates in the Cleveland area and with statewide and judicial candidates. He even served as the Ohio Campus Organizer with the Warren for President campaign. Ifeolu has done the more technical research work, being trained at Burges & Burges Strategists. He has managed numerous paid canvassers and volunteers throughout his career.
Ifeolu is skilled in the tactics and messaging necessary to educate the public and move them from inertia to action. He takes a collaborative approach to change and has a network that is second to none. In this venture, Ifeolu is prepared to help any campaign or organization reach their goals.
